Text heavy documents are not only daunting, but nearly impossible to sift through. Children can sometimes get lost in the way that information is presented on web pages. Alternatively, ask your child to place sticky notes next to sections that were especially interesting explaining why they enjoyed that part of the text.Ĭhildren with ADHD who are in school struggle to organize information when preparing for longer assignments. Later, ask your child to look up a few of the highlighted words and place a sticky note next to the highlighted word with its definition included.
